The Catholic Church has the responsibility for continuing the mission of Jesus on Earth. We as Catholics must follow the teachings
of Jesus and proclaim his message to each other.
The faith community at St. Anns seeks to provide an atmosphere and opportunity for both children and adults to share faith
experiences; to grow in knowledge and appreciation of the truths, beliefs, and traditions of our Catholic faith; and be truly
transformed as the Body of Christ.
The Diocese of Charlotte requires that a student must be registered in a parish and attending Religious Education (i.e. a Parish Faith
Formation program or a Catholic School program) for 2 years prior to the start of the sacramental preparation for Reconciliation,
Eucharist, and Confirmation.
These programs require that parents attend meetings throughout the year. These sacraments are to be received in your parish.
Students preparing for Confirmation are ages 13 or older.
