The St. Ann's Women's Society Prayer

We come to You today, our Father, as a group of women dedicated to following You and advancing Your work throughout the world. Take away all barriers that separate us from one another; dispel jealousy and rivalry and antagonism. Help us truly to love one another and to work together in harmony for You. Fill our hearts with understanding and sympathy. May each of us give herself to the work of the society and, above all, to Your service.

Dear Lord, grant wisdom and give direction to those who serve in our Women’s Society; may we work harmoniously and effectively. Show us Your will, and move us to concerted action to achieve it. Give us open minds, warm, responsive hearts, and a united purpose. Help us to realize that we are representatives; and may we seek to take such action as will be good for all.

We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
